Coworking space
Over the past few years, the world of work has been the protagonist of a series of trends, creators of a radical change in its organizational structure through the identification of the sharing economy model as a response to new needs aimed at a multifaceted use of space and interaction between professionals. Hence the coworking space arises from the need to practice remote work but, at the same time, to be able to take advantage of a hybrid space where to get in touch with professional figures from different sectors and share their skills with the aim of creating a physical and digital platform in which to produce new knowledge.
Although the coworking model appears to be a system that has been established for years, over time this appears to be constantly evolving, both at the level of positioning within the urban system and as a place in continuous development through the rethinking of the spatial components that constitute it. This process of transition finds that the current established models active in the world’s major capitals, characterized by large spaces and central urban locations, represent only one of the possible declinations of coworking, thus relating to a more sustainable alternative that is attentive to issues of proximity and accessibility.
How it works
Planet Smart City aims to incorporate this working model within its real estate developments, offering residents and external clients a proximity space where they can carry out their work and take advantage of spaces that are strongly hybrid and suitable for different needs. The design phase of the solution takes into consideration the possibility of working individually or taking advantage of areas dedicated to meeting and exchanging ideas and projects, thus incentivizing the processes of business development and creation of a pragmatic community.
In the global context, space identity takes different spatial and organizational forms, so the solution aims to respond to the needs of its users, ensuring the base a set of services and amenities specifically tailored to its geographical location and activity demand.
Future developments
The set of strategies that distinguish the growth of the Smart City model will direct the Coworking space to a model of development of the world of work that is increasingly shared and open to the hybridization of spaces and people who live them daily. In this scenario Planet Smart City fits through the proposal of a new model designed to be inserted in the residential context, thus presenting a new idea of the space inserted in a more articulated system.
